Project Description

This is an original character I designed. I wanted to recreate a low-poly style you might see in older video games. Most of the detail comes from the hand drawn texture that gives this model its charm while still maintaining a simplistic design.

I decided to make the proportions and over all 3d form fall between accurate to real life and cartoon or chibi, note that the head is rounder and wider than normal, but the limbs and torso are still long.

I designed this character first by creating sketches, illustrations, and 2d animations in Procreate and Photoshop.

Next, in Blender, I modeled, UV-unwrapped, texture painted, rigged, weight painted, posed, and rendered the character.

The file is now an asset in my blender library ready to be brought into future scenes or as a .fbx file for unity.
